The Impact

How do you begin to define the impact of the One Day to Feed the World initiative?

You could start with the nearly 30 million people who have been touched by Convoy of Hope.  You could talk about the nearly 700 outreaches held around the world, giving people help, hope and a clear presentation of the gospel.  Maybe it’s the over 260,000 volunteers who have played a major role in bringing the gospel to hurting children and families.  Or, maybe the 1,600 plus tractor-trailer loads of food, water, ice, and supplies we have delivered to disaster victims.

Any way you look at it, One Day to Feed the World has had amazing impact here at home and in over 120 countries around the world. Why? Because churches like yours, and pastors like you have made a commitment to dedicating one Sunday a year to emphasizing the poor and needy.

Sometimes impact is difficult to define. Sometimes it’s difficult to measure.  Not this time.  We measure impact by nearly one quarter of a million people making a personal decision to have a relationship with Jesus Christ!  After all…isn’t that why we are here?
